Position: Assistant-In-Training / Bunker Foreman

Experience Requirements: Previous experience on a golf course maintenance staff preferred, any experience with bunker maintenance and construction is a plus


Special Requirements:

  • Must have a strong understanding of the game of golf and must be an active golfer
  • Perform general maintenance on bunkers including but not limited to: raking, weeding, edging, and general debris cleanup
  • Routinely check sand depths and evenness across bunkers and move or add sand as needed.
  • Evaluate bunker conditions as they pertain to playability and consistency and determine creative and effective solutions to common bunker issues.
  • Report any serious complications within bunkers that may create an unfair hazard for golfers and in conjunction with the superintendent and or assistant superintendent determine the appropriate corrective course of action.
  • Prioritize and use time efficiently
  • Must keep personal space and equipment clean and organized
  • Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by superintendent and or assistant superintendent
  • Incorporate teamwork and positive attitude in performance
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and initiative and will be a self motivator

Comments: TPC Snoqualmie Ridge is an 18 hole private club located 25 minutes from downtown Seattle in Snoqualmie, Wa. Opened in 1999, we are the only signature Jack Nicklaus designed course in the Pacific Northwest. The course offers panoramic views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains over 220 acres. Since 2005, we have also been the proud home of the Boeing Classic, a PGA Champions Tour event held at the end of August.
