Job Description:
Individual will be responsible for directing and maintaining all areas relating to the baseball field as well as stadium operations and maintenance needs throughout the summer. This person will ensure that the playing surface is kept in outstanding condition throughout the year as well as ensuring the stadium itself is kept in the best possible condition. This person will work in conjunction with the Everett School District in maintaining the field and facility.

Essential Functions:
1. Manage, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of field maintenance for all AquaSox baseball games.
2. Ensure the playing surface is in superior condition for the NWL Season.
3. Perform proactive maintenance on various areas of the ballpark as needed (fixing seats, power washing, hanging signs, etc.)
4. Perform repairs, maintenance and reconstruction of all mounds, base paths and infield dirt and other areas as needed.
5. Complete mowing tasks on the entire playing surface in conjunction with Everett School District Staff.
6. Perform all edging tasks on the infield and warning track.
7. Work on a day to day basis with the AquaSox coaching staff relating to field needs.
8. Execute all pre and post-game responsibilities related to field maintenance. (i.e. batting practice, infield, clean-up, etc.)
9. Hire, Train and Direct the work of all seasonal grounds maintenance staff.
10. Operate the grounds/maintenance department in an efficient manner with the ability to operate within a budget.
11. Assist in all field maintenance tasks related to aeration, including fertilization, seeding and topdressing.
12. Keep the Executive Vice-President apprised of equipment and material needs.
13. Inventory and secure all field operations tools and equipment.
14. Execute all pre and post-game responsibilities related to field maintenance.
15. Assist as needed with high school baseball events

Experience Required:
1. High school diploma / G.E.D. (College Degree preferred)
2. Experience in sports turf and landscape maintenance. Preferred experience with baseball fields.
3. Energetic, enthusiastic and have the capability to work with diverse personalities.
4. Ability to operate maintenance equipment and possess the knowledge of field tools.
5. Knowledge of basic management and supervisory skills.
6. Ability to initiate, lead, plan and direct the work of gameday staff, both maintenance and stadium personnel
7. Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff.
8. Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework.
9. Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
