Welcome to the internship database! Internships offer students practical hands on experience and the opportunity to meet key people in a field of interest. Click on the links for each internship for more details.
The internship program is supported by extension faculty specializing in the following areas: small farms, plant pathology, and Christmas trees. Nursery research interns focus on two main areas, improving research skills and developing communication skills. Interns will have the opportunity to work with both researchers and members of the industry to gain an understanding of nursery and/or Christmas tree production and research methods. Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in their own research experiment in an area of their interest.
