Biography

I am a former Entomologist and U.S. EPA Researcher who has found a happy home in the OSU Horticulture and Crop & Soil Science Departments, advising and teaching undergraduates.

Professional Experience

Work Plan Manager, Dynamac Corporation, Corvallis, OR. Work Plan Manager for research projects at the U.S. EPA Research Laboratory. Conducted research on the effects of genetically engineered plants and microorganisms, global warming and forest management practices on the soil ecosystem by monitoring and identifying microorganisms, nematodes, protozoa, microarthropods and native plants. Performed general administrative and supervisory activities such as work plan and budget preparation and management, research task scheduling and coordination, and employee recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and development.
