Permaculture Classes Offered by Oregon State University
This 3 week Permaculture Design Certificate Course starting August 15, 2011 can be taken for college credit through Oregon State University. Classroom lecture will be blended with hands-on, field trips, observation and design exercises, and top-notch guest instructors to cover the core Permaculture curriculum and new applications. The cost is $800.
Learn the full cycle of the Permaculture Design System:
Learn design at scales from homestead to village to city, and yard to neighborhood to farm.
The location is convenient and bike friendly close to town, and in the heart of the Willamette Valley with its beautiful rivers, farms, and forests.
The class is Monday-Friday, with weekends off.
Instructor: Andrew Millison with guests Jude Hobbs, Marisha Auerbach, Heiko Koester, Mark Lakeman, Tao Orion, Mike Hatfield and others
Field Trips to Portland City Repair, Aprovecho and more
Cost: $800 Students provide their own food and housing. Non-University Campsite connections available.
