Job Description

Planet Turf, headquartered in Spokane, WA, has an opening for a Regional Sales Representative for Inland Empire Region of the Pacific Northwest (Eastern WA, Northern ID, Western MT) We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our sales team to expand and develop our customer base.
In this position you will be responsible for generating sales and market share of Planet Turf landscape and golf maintenance fertilizer, pesticide, grass seed and a number of other maintenance products and services. Responsibilities include building a
working relationship with golf course superintendents, professional grounds managers, and landscape companies with the purpose of increasing sales in the territory. Also, assisting the growth of Planet Turf business interests and contributing to the development of marketing, sales, and technical support of products and a competitive strategy processes.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
 Building a solid market share with golf, landscape, schools, parks and municipal industries
 Develop and maintain relationships with customers, associations.
 Contribute and assist with administration of sales, marketing, research, and technical support to Planet Turf customers.


Candidates with a bachelor's degree in agriculture or related discipline are preferred. Experience in the field of grounds maintenance and strong knowledge of the practical use of fertilizer, pesticides, and agronomic practices is advantageous. Sales experience is a plus. Candidates must be self-motivated, oriented toward serving others, able to communicate technical procedures and products in a clear manner. Must have desire to present information at seminars and have public speaking skills. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and business software applications.
The duties of this position will occasionally require working in outdoor and inclement weather conditions and requires occasional overnight travel. Must be willing or work extra hours when there is a need. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a pesticide consulting license and US Passport.
