OGCSA Assistant Superintendent Scholarship
Do you or someone you know have an Assistant Superintendent that wants to see what the OGCSA has to offer, and have the opportunity to network with fellow Assistants as well as Superintendents throughout the state? Do they want to be more engaged in their state chapter but shrinking budgets won’t allow for the cost of membership? If that’s the case, then here’s the answer…….The OGCSA Assistant Superintendent Scholarship. Winners of the Assistant Superintendent Scholarship will be awarded a two year membership with the OGCSA and in return will be required to serve on the Assistants Committee. While serving on the committee, they will get the opportunity to plan, organize, and execute a number of projects the OGCSA puts on, thus honing their skill set for future career opportunities. In a world where who you know is everything, this is a great opportunity to network and make yourself known. Applicants simply need to fill out their information (see link below) and submit a short essay stating why they wish to become more involved. Once your application has been received, we will contact your Superintendent to ensure that they endorse your application. A winner will be announced at the annual meeting and applications are due no later than May 17. Good luck!
