A student studying horticulture will be uniquely prepared to work in diverse fields of the plant sciences, ecological landscapes, sustainable food and farming systems, and pest biology and management.

Students work towards a B.S. in Horticulture, which provides them with a solid foundation in the natural sciences. In addition, students choose a specialized option to study:

Horticultural Research
Plant Breeding and Genetics
Sustainable Horticultural Production
Therapeutic Horticulture
