2026 Arbor Day at OSU 

The Northside of Fairbanks Hall on April 17, 2026 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm students will be planting 7 trees. This event is open to the entire campus community and the public and will be hosted by the Facilities Services Landscape Shop and in conjunction with the OSU Arboretum Curator.  The OSU Ice Cream truck will also be there handing out free ice cream.

2026 National Collegiate Landscape Competition 

Oregon State University sent 11 students to the National Collegiagte Landscaoe Competition in East Lansing, Michigan, March 17 to 21, 2026. OSU participants included Ethan Lam, Karley Bauroth, Alex Bellegarde, Sadie Duffy, Sami Leffler, Maxine Ma, Cierra Ridenour, Will Pearson, Eric Sherman, Lindsey Brooks and Milo Tisdale. Karley Barouth and Sadie Duggy were recognized at the meeting for receiving the NALP Grover Farmily Scholarhsip and David & Pam Snodgrass, Dennis' Seven Dees Scholarship, respectively. Alex Bellegarde and Milo Tisdale place 3rd in the Employee Development competition. Sami Leffler was the top ranking OSU student overall. Great work Beavs!  

 

2025 National Collegiate Landscape Competition Results 

The undergraduate landscaping program students represented OSU well at the National Collegiate Landscape Competition in FT Collins Colorado, which was March 19 to 22, 2025. Elly Jones, Matilda Klopfenstein and Blake Pell placed 5th in the Landscape Installation Competition. Club President Emily Bonazzola received a National Association of Landscape Professionals Platinum Ambassador Award. Blake Pell was the highest scoring individual from OSU. The 2025 team included Emily Bonazzola, Elly Jones, Ethan Lam, Blake Pell, Ellie Greiner, Megan Kyriss, Aine Gillen, Karley Bauroth, Matt Scheaffer, Matilda Klopfenstein, Sadie Duffy and Lindsey Brooks. A big thank you to club advisors Dan Blanchard and Christian Sanchez, who helped prepare the team for this competition and team facilitated travel logistics. 2025 NCLC Results
