
Dam Proud Day - Give to the Environmental Landscape Support Fund
April 30, 2025, is Dam Proud Day! This 24-hour giving day unites Beavers worldwide to celebrate Oregon State University, connect with each other and support over 100 programs, causes and student-led organizations. Support for the Environmental Landscape Support Fund will be used for educational programs with the Department of Horticulture in the Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture. Up to $10,000 in 2025 donations will be matched by the Grover family.
Electric Turf and Landscaping Equipment Expo

This expo will highlight the commercially available electric turfgrass and landscape management equipment. Electric equipment vendors will include Turf Star, Kress, Brim Tractor, Pacific Golf & Turf, and STIHL Northwest. Equipment will include, but is not limited to electric mowers, tractors, blowers, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers.
National Collegiate Landscape Competition Results
The undergraduate landscaping program students represented OSU well at the National Collegiate Landscape Competition in FT Collins Colorado, which was March 19 to 22, 2025. Elly Jones, Matilda Klopfenstein and Blake Pell placed 5th in the Landscape Installation Competition. Club President Emily Bonazzola received a National Associaiton of Landsacpe Professionals Platinum Ambassador Award. Blake Pell was the highest scoring individual from OSU. The 2025 team included Emily Bonazzola, Elly Jones, Ethan Lam, Blake Pell, Ellie Greiner, Megan Kyriss, Aine Gillen, Karly Bauroth, Matt Scheaffer, Matilda Klopfenstein, Sadie Duffy and Lindsey Brooks.
