Amanda has been a Faculty Research Assistant for the berry crop production/physiology research program in the Department of Horticulture and the NWREC (led by Dr. Scott Lukas and formerly Dr. Bernadine Strik) since 2013. She establishes and manages organic and conventional berry crop research plantings and works on collaborative research projects at the NWREC and at grower cooperator sites. Her research interests include physiology of perennial fruit crops and sustainable production methods. Amanda has a B.S. in Biology from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC and a M.S. in Horticulture from OSU.
