My aim here is to identify potential "hotspots" within the viral genome that the plant's defense mechanisms selectively target, thereby effectively suppressing viral activity.
My objectives extends to unraveling whether these identified "hotspots" hold the key to alleviating the detrimental effects caused by the Red Blotch on grapevines. The tantalizing question driving my relentless research efforts is whether these genetic loci could potentially orchestrate a transformation of infected grapevines into resilient defenders against the Red Blotch Virus.
But my exploration doesn't stop there. I am also exploring the field of nanoparticles, particularly the fascinating realm of carbon dots. These minuscule wonders have the potential to revolutionize the deployment of dsRNA biopesticides, potentially ushering in a new era of safeguarding crops.
When I'm not diving into the intricacies of grapevine virology, I enjoy a variety of things that bring me joy. I love going for runs with my dog – it's not just a physical activity, but it also helps clear my mind.
