I volunteer with Friends of Trees, Portland Urban Forestry, and the Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank & Plant Conservation Program. I'm a member of the Native Plant Society of Oregon.

I'm a research assistant in Dr. Kristine Buckland's lab at North Willamette Research and Extension Center studying vegetable and specialty seed crops. Recent projects include flying a UAS to collect plant health data, pollinator protection, variety trials, and pest/pathogen management.

I earned a PhD in Biology from the University of Mississippi in 2016 and started working for Oregon State University in 2017 at the Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center. I started in Dr. Buckland's lab in 2019.
