SPORTS TURF MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP at historic Fenway Park with the Boston Red Sox.
The Boston Red Sox are searching for highly motivated, quality focused individuals who are enrolled in a 2 or 4 year turf/horticultural program. Here is an EXCELLENT opportunity to gain valuable experience working as an intern on the Boston Red Sox grounds crew. The aura of working sold out games in this historic park while experiencing the amazing Red Sox nation fan base is electrifying. This is a paid hourly internship with time and a half pay after 40 hrs. You will be active in all aspects of sports turf management. You will be involved with not only Red Sox games but also many extra events that the field is utilized for. These possible events include but are not limited to ... movies, concerts, commercials and corporate client events. This hands-on experience will be a truly wonderful "tool" to help build your future sports turf management career.
Individual must be willing to work long hours, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs. Starting and finishing dates will be flexible based on availability.
